Design research bridges the gap between business, brand, and users. You will dive deep into our clients’ brands, their stakeholders, and users, while learning about our mixed-methods research approach. Working together, you will identify research insights and facilitate design solutions that improve brands and show future paths forward.

Actively participate in the ideation and organisation of research activities. You will learn from the team and contribute by tapping into previous experience.
Start analysis and synthesis of results using methods like textual analysis, empathy mapping, and experience journeys.
Support the team by developing future recommendations based on research findings.

You are either studying, doing a semester-internship, or have obtained a bachelor’s degree in design, design research, brand marketing, psychology, sociology, or ethnology.
No professional experience in research and/or design required. An interest in getting to the bottom of the “how?” and “why?” of a product’s success is important.
Openness to an experimental research approach that mixes qualitative and quantitative methods. Keen to understand the life cycle of a product and its impacts.
Willingness to travel for research and workshops.
The Austrian government requires us to state the MINIMUM salary for every position. In this case the actual salary is €1,000 gross per month for an undergraduate internship and €1,200 gross per month for a postgraduate internship. KISKA is also an equal opportunity employer.
