The LAYER studio in East London is where we bring your ideas to life. We have a workshop equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, industrial sewing machines, and material libraries; dedicated zones for research and development; powerful technology that we use to create cutting-edge visuals; and collaborative spaces where we craft evocative design stories.

Who we are looking for?

We are on the lookout for an industrial design intern to join the studio for a 6-12 month paid internship from January 2024.

Our internship program focuses on creatives in education and on their placement year, or emerging designers after graduation, and will give young designers an insight into working in our progressive and inspiring studio.

What can you expect?

Over the course of the internship, we provide the opportunity to learn from our talented team and collaborate on every stage of the design process across everything from next-generation tech and transport to immersive installations. Our Internship program is based on-site in our London studio, paid pro rata at a national living wage, and you will need to have an outstanding portfolio of student work.
