Overview

TEAGUE’s Aerospace focused Design Studio is looking for a stellar Industrial Designer to design and build the future of travel experiences. The Industrial Designer is responsible for utilizing conceptual skills, industry experience, and imagination to bring innovation and creative excellence to the organization’s creative and design deliverables. You have a demonstrated understanding of design quality and skills that embrace all facets of a holistic, human-centered design process in all project phases – from research, concept generation, design development and implementation with partners and vendors.

This position requires excellent communication/collaboration skills with cross-disciplinary teams and external clients, suppliers, and creative partners across global locations. As a strong collaborator, you work with assigned project team(s) in delivering compelling presentations, and you effectively present concepts and creative deliverables to various internal and external audiences.

Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design; 2+ years of professional experience ideally in a design consulting environment. Aerospace experience is desirable, though not mandatory.

Skills: A strong portfolio that illustrates your creative skills across the design process; Great sketching, concept generation, and design development; Proficiency in 2D, 3D, and rendering software; Understanding of prototyping, materials, and manufacturing processes within product development; Solid communication skills, both verbal and visual, with an ability to construct inspiring design narratives and rationales.

Passion: Eager to explore and contribute a breadth of design concepts; Interest in building transformative and innovative solutions.

Role: Deliver creative content within collaborative, cross-disciplinary team settings; Organize and manage own project work to efficiently achieve deliverables and meet deadlines; Develop design concepts from idea to implementation.

TEAGUE is currently working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a Washington State based company. All employees must reside in the state of Washington and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area when we return to work in our hybrid/remote work approach.
