MET is a fast-growing brand with over 30 years of success in creating high-performance bicycle helmets and accessories that have set industry standards.

We are seeking a full-time Product Designer for designing and developing our Bluegrass MTB collection of body armors, gloves and accessories, from the initial concept, design, development, prototyping, and into finished product at the manufacturer.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Design and create products, as well as their parts and components, that combine style, functionality and technology
• Research and identify new opportunities, trends, materials and progressive technologies
• Work on the entire creation process – from ideation, 2D-3D sketching and concept development to production tech-packs, prototypes, sample reviews and final approval
• Interface with Engineering and Testing team to validate new product solutions to applicable safety standards
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners, suppliers and manufacturers

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design / Product Design
• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing sports and performance products
• Technical knowledge of mass production, manufacturing processes, and materials in the context of sports and performance products
• Adobe CC applications (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Clo 3D is an advantage
• Screen-printing, heat transfer, laser printing, knits and wovens and injections molding
• Passion for innovation, performance, sports including cycling and MTB
• Fluent English skills
• Knowledge of Italian is an advantage
