Job Description

Join Bird Buddy as a Senior Industrial Designer and take part in building an incredible portfolio of products that help people connect with nature. Working in a dynamic startup environment, you will have a key role in exploring, designing and validating new product ideas, and bringing those ideas through manufacturing to market. You’ll work collaboratively in-person and remotely with team members from around the world in a challenging and professional work environment. And as part of a fast-growing mission-driven company, your time will be spent on meaningful projects that have the ability to make a positive global impact.

 

Your playground:

• Exploring new product ideas and uncovering opportunities in the market
• Conducting user and field research to uncover new insights
• Rapid 3D CAD concepting, visualization and prototyping of new ideas
• Collaboration with marketing and customer engagement for validation and feedback
• Design refinement and collaboration with the engineering team
• Maintaining design intent through the DFM and manufacturing process
• Helping to maintain a cohesive visual brand language across the portfolio
• Mentoring and guiding junior designers and interns

• You have strong technical skills in industrial design and 3D rendering

• You have experience mentoring interns and junior designers
