What to Expect
You will be part of a team that shapes the identity of the Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg. Your role will drive the employee experience, creating and cultivating an inspiring work environment.You will support the creative team with a variety of design tasks including interior, furniture, graphic, signage, wayfinding and art-related projects.
The role requires an inventive, open mind, willing to go beyond the standards to create authentic design solutions based on first principles.
What You’ll Do
Own the design of the workplace, making the Gigafactory a cool place to work
Support in different Workplace design requests
Create signage for interior offices and exterior sites including wayfinding, printed graphics, interior/exterior building signage, event signage, branded digital assets for Tesla offices, factories, and manufacturing facilities
Assist in selection and procurement of design finishes that align with overall project goals as well as Tesla design standards. Prepare layouts, POR’s, renderings, and space utilization studies as needed
Keep an eye on latest trends in workplace design, research furniture and fixtures, new fabrication technologies and materials for implementation in our people spaces
What You’ll Bring
Studying towards or recently graduated from a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Graphic Design
Fluent in English
Eye for composition
Ability to effectively communicate ideas in writing, speaking, visualizing
skills in current versions of Adobe Creative Suite
skills in 3d modeling and visualization software (e.g. Rhino / Revit + Vray / Twinmotion)
hands-on, experimental mindset, no fear of mistakes
Bonus:
Experience in furniture / lighting design
Parametric design, e.g. Grasshopper skills
Interest in exploring the intersection of technology and art
German skills
