Module 1 / Fix your sketching skills & develop a style that motivates you to create.

Motivation comes from the inside. So when you do flat sketches of your desk lamp, it often leads to losing motivation. To free your creativity, the most important thing is not only to sketch simple things properly, but also that you feel motivated by what you create. It is worthwhile to develop a style that makes you proud, creative and genuinely proactive.

Understand how to shade every typical forms, corners, part lines, hinges, buttons etc... which are constantly used in Industrial Design.
Practice developing your speed, develop a style and progress from a white page, from a quick exploration doodle, to a presentation sketch.
Learn how to create volume, contrast and apply the correct shading so that your sketches pop out (no more unexciting flat pancake sketches)
"Where does the light come from?" Use a simplified technique to place your lighting and shadows without thinking (I use this every day...).
Use the white pen for highlights and improve precision with your markers to make your sketch dynamic, clean and creative.
Become good enough that you can start loving your sketches. Now, let's move on to module 2.

Now that you like your sketches and you are motivated by them, we need to give you the aptitude to create desirable objects.
