The Shapery

We work collaboratively with brands from all over the world creating beautiful product experiences.

The Shapery is lead by Dutch designer Robin Zwama and Chinese entrepreneur Beluccina Liu. Their mutual passion for sophisticated design, and the emotional connection between product and human, culminated in the founding of the design consultancy in 2018 in Shanghai.

As our expertise and client base continued to grow rapidly, we established our Hong Kong office in 2020. This has allowed us to be even closer to manufacturers for efficient quality control, making sure that what we hold in our hands looks, feels, and works as beautifully as intended.

Part of the physical product often includes a smartphone app. The design language and user experience of this app and product should compliment each other.

As part of the package for client we do Industrial Design for, we also offer (re)branding. We create a brand language that matches the design language of the products and the story of the brand.
