Digital Art Designer at
Harman

About the Role:

We are looking for an adventurous, passionate, and accomplished Principal designer with world class design sensibility to join our design team in Shenzhen, China.

The right candidate loves music as we do, brings a fresh perspective on design & innovation and has the ability to understand and translate latest fashion, interior and cultural design trends into iconic product experiences for Harman’s iconic brands, including JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG.

You will take a lead role with hands-on responsibilities working in a very fast-paced, collaborative environment. You understand that great design can amplify the lives of real people and how this builds a strong brand. As a key member of the design team, your role will involve overseeing the strategic product design for the brand.

What You Will Do

• Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas.
• Drive the style and feel of the video
• Support packaging render (Product image render)
• Modeling, texturing, lighting needed assets and environments
• Rendering animations and Photo real image
• Knowledge in Realtime rendering engine is a big plus
• Work with the marketing team to deliver innovative product 3D animation for online promotion in different platform such as Behance, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, etc.  

What You Need

• BA or higher in a relevant field
• Interested in 3D animation and the 3D community.
• Comfortable with 2D and 3D motion ideation and production workflows.
• Expert in Adobe CC, After Effects, Cinema 4D or Maya, and a diverse range of motion design software, plug-ins, techniques, and approaches.
• Experienced in designing digital art with photo realistic high-definition quality.
• You\'re passionate about your work and executing it to perfection.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
• Advanced skills working with rendering software such as Octane or Arnold.
• Knowledge of X-particle, Houdini, Redshift, is a plus
• Knowledge of editing, music, and sound editing will be a big plus
• Must be results and detail-oriented
• Multi-tasking, can handle multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to work as a part of the team in the pipeline
• Advanced knowledge of English, and other languages is a plus.
• Outgoing, passionate, and with an excellent sense of humor.
• Lives, breaths, and loves design.
• Portfolio and demo reel must be provided before the interview
