Reporting directly to the Creative & Design Manager, he/she will follow the conception and design of new industrial design products and/or components (e.g. bodies, crankcase protections, etc.) intended for mass production and responding to market needs and new production requirements. product.

 

The Industrial Designer will take care of:

• conceptualize and give shape to new products and/or design components in the industrial machinery sector using the main design tools, starting from the definition of the style concept up to feasibility and mass production;
• concepts, sketches and 3D surfaces for visualizing concepts and project ideas;
• the project, prepare graphic processing, illustrations, color & trim studies, renderings and representations for product development.

 

Required skills and experiences

 

• Degree in Industrial Design, Design or equivalent path;
• experience of at least 3-5 years in a similar role (definition of the style concept, creative experience in design and development) within industrial contexts;
• excellent knowledge of mechanical technical drawing, knowledge of the main production technologies and mechanical processes in the industrial design field;
• knowledge and mastery of 3D CAD software (e.g. Rhinoceros, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor). Knowledge in Unity, Blender, Grasshopper will be considered a plus;
• knowledge and mastery of the Adobe package (Photoshop, illustrator, Indesign);
• keyshot and/or Cinema 4D Vray;
• Good knowledge of the English language ;
• good relational skills also from a project management perspective with different company areas (engineering, marketing, etc.) and external interfaces (suppliers) following the progress of the products during the development process; the ability to effectively communicate creative ideas is fundamental;
• creativity, aesthetic sense and attention to the manufacturability of the components;
• resourcefulness accompanied by openness and solution orientation;

 

The position requires availability for any travel in Italy and abroad.
