All about the role:

As a member of our Taste Design Team, you will contribute to our bigger goal of making a positive impact on people’s everyday lives. We are part of a global design team of over 200 designers located in 5 different locations, working to shape Electrolux’s design future.
Based in Curitiba, you will be an integral member of the Electrolux Design team, collaborating with our global CMF teams located at our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as in our other design studios. While teamwork and alignment towards shared goals are essential, you will also have the autonomy to work independently and contribute to evolving the CMF expression within the Taste Design team.

What you’ll do:

As a SR CMF Designer, you will inspire creativity, lead innovation, and develop world-class CMF designs for current and future. You will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring that every design tells a compelling story that resonates with both internal and external stakeholders. In doing so, you will contribute to launching multiple products to market while keeping a keen awareness of the broader business context. In detail, you will:

• Manage CMF Deliverables: Oversee all CMF deliverables across multiple product development projects.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CMF design team to develop and implement a CMF strategy for specific brands or categories.
• Develop CMF Palettes: Contribute to the creation of tailored CMF palettes for designated brands or categories.
• Drive CMF development: Champion innovation and sustainability in Design,
• Supplier Partnership: Collaborate with selected suppliers to ensure seamless implementation of the CMF strategy.
• Guidelines & Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive guidelines and templates for CMF, texture, and graphic specifications to ensure consistent and efficient project execution.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field;
• Solid CMF experience, preferably from an industry leading corporation;
• Solid knowledge in manufacturing processes and keen interest to learn;
• Solid visualisation skills. Fluent in relevant 2D and 3D software (Adobe Creative suite, Keyshot etc);
• Familiarity in CMF Measurements & Quality Process Proficiency;
• Fluent English;
• Willingness to travel and represent the Design Team at manufacturing sites.

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
