Senior Industrial Designer

Lease Labor Contract Position - 18 Months, Full-time Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Designer to join our team for an 18-month contract, focusing on designing cutting-edge residential and professional equipment for the digitalization of the ICT and renewable energy industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of innovative ICT and energy equipment for both residential and professional applications

• Create sophisticated product designs that blend functionality, aesthetic appeal, and brand identity

• Create detailed ready for prototyping CAD files and CMF documentation

• Create photorealistic renderings (animations a plus) for internal presentations to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in industrial design, with proven experience in consumer and professional electronics

• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex product design projects

• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or Rhino)

• Excellent visualization and presentation skills (Keyshot/Blender, After effects, PowerPoint)

• Experience with manufacturing processes and materials

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles

Work Environment

• 100% onsite position (no remote work available)

• Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Collaborative design studio environment

• Gym, billiard (pool), ping-pong, and showers on site

• Padel courts next door

Contract Details

Duration: 18 months (Lease Labor, renewable)

Type: Full-time 40 hours/week

Location: Huawei Munich Research Center, Riesstrasse 25 D-0, 80992 Munich
