As an Industrial Designer at Zebra Technologies, you will work across various core business units, including Asset tracking solutions, Printers, Enterprise Mobile Computing, data capture solutions, and Automation, developing skills to shape and create world-class products that will transform our customers' needs through Innovation. Designers will work directly with cross-functional product development teams to deliver Innovative product solutions while championing best-in-class usability, aesthetics, and product experiences.
Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Simultaneously work on multiple projects, in support of other designers
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities.
• Work on all stages of industrial design development in a complex portfolio of products and platforms, including product architecture, design language, validation, and specifications.
• Participate and Contribute to design reviews, collaborating with fellow designers on a global outreach.
• Domestic or international travel might be required up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications
This would be an opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in Design, working on projects from concept through to production opportunities

• Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design - BA/BS or BFA/BFID
• Great concept sketching and ideation skills; excellent sense of form and detail
• Demonstrate strong problem solving ability
• Excellent skills and ability to create concept and production 3D models, experience in Autodesk -Alias, PTC CREO or similar
• Good use/knowledge of Adobe Suites
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
• Interest in electronics and mobile industry is a plus
• Willingness to learn manufacturing and production methods
