[Keyshot Contest] The Brief

leManoosh x Sam Does Design

  • It’s been forever since we wanted to create “design & render” challenges at leManoosh. We’ve always been smashed with work, but as we’re about to release our (way too long) awaited new masterpiece, the new Keyshot Essentials:
  • The Essentials of Keyshot For Designers. “Beat photography at its own game” by Sam Does Design
  • This was our opportunity to create this contest we always wanted to do. A contest where everyone can improve their skills and be inspired by those who make our community move forward. So ZBOOM! Here we are! Let's plug the mouse.

The brief is,
Something we can plug on a Nintendo Switch.

  • What new accessory or X could we plug on a Nintendo Switch. The challenge is now to find the idea, design it and render it.

    > Download the Nintendo Switch file at the bottom of this page. There are no boundaries. We can design a fully injected plastic accessory or a cardboard folded pancake holder. We can stick to clean, minimal renders to fit better on the leManoosh wall, or as the course also goes through more complex scenes and interiors, we can also go for some more dramatic scenes for those who feel creative with their baby!

The winners will be published on the leManoosh wall + banner and win online courses of their choice.

  • The best ones along these 3 categories: > Design > Rendering > Creativity
  • 1 - We'll share the 3 winners on the main leManoosh banner + leManoosh wall, with a link to your portfolio or IG account!
  • 2 - The 3 best ones will receive 1 x copy of Sam's NEW online course "The essentials of Keyshot for designers - Beat Photography at its own game".
  • 3 - The 3 best ones will receive one leManoosh design masterclass of your choice.
  • 4 -We'll share and the top 10 to 20 best submissions on the leManoosh homepage with a link to your portfolio or IG account!  

The deadline!

  • We have the next 2 weeks (including 2 weekends) to kick this off and make it as amazing as we can. Find the idea, design it, render it, publish it (See below).
  • November 2nd: Have fun, be creative, there are 0 limits. We’ll try to bring some tips over the weeks, and we’ll host a huge live event on IG on Tuesday 2nd November to announce the winners and deliver the prizes, publish the winners on the leManoosh wall.
  • November 2nd (also): During the winners' celebration, we will announce the new leManoosh Keyshot Essentials release.

How to submit your work?

  • You can either send your designs by email to us ([email protected]), or identify / tag us on IG when you publish your work. @lemanoosh_official and @sam_does_design when you post it on Instagram.

Special note

  • There are always many reasons to participate in a design contest. It can give us an extra opportunity to exercise our skills, to join the community and be inspired by the top guys, to improve ourselves by pushing ourselves to match the quality of others or simply to add a new project to your portfolio…
  • What we aim with this contest is to that we all push to design things we're proud of, that we let the creativity flow and have fun in the process, and that we end up being inspired by the work of others. Some among us will show us the way. This is a chance, our opportunity to go one more step ahead in our game. Let's burn the graphic card.
