CMF Designer – Development Opportunity

We currently have a great development opportunity for a talented CMF Designer to join us as we work in collaboration with recognised industry leaders in EV technology on our high-end vehicle project. Working within our Design Team you will have a great appreciation of craftmanship and premium quality and take responsibility for the concept, development, and design of colour, material and finishes for Interiors and Exteriors. This role will provide exposure to every aspect of the CMF Design process including trend research, development of CMF strategy, material selection and final CMF for production.
To be successful you will have at least two years’ work experience, this could include a combination of work experience including an internship. With an innovative and ‘hands on’ approach you will have a keen eye for sophisticated design and attention to detail with the ability to visualize and develop design proposals for colours materials and finishes for bespoke interiors and exteriors gained within a high-end niche or larger automotive/aviation CMF Design environment. You will also be a great communicator, comfortable working under pressure and excited as well as passionate to deliver within a high performing team environment, you will also have eligibility to work in the UK.
• Source new materials
• Trend Research
• Produce material boards and presentations to effectively illustrate CMF solutions
• Approve colour, materials, and finishes for all vehicle interior and exterior surfaces
• Graphic design support for presentations
• Build strong relationships with customers and vendors
Our Technical Requirements
Technically you will have a degree or equivalent within a related design field, a creative approach and excellent visual communication skills together with proficiency in Adobe CS programs, experience with Key Shot and VRED visualisation software would be Ideal.
