We are Huawei’s London Design Studio, a compact team of designers looking for a new talent to join us on our mission to shape the future of tech, and craft our company’s next products.

We are seeking designers of all levels with an expertise in creating objects and experiences in either of the following domains: consumer electronics, fashion & accessories, footwear, luxury, automotive, and beyond. In this role, you will be based at our studio in St Pancras in London, working hand-in-hand with other designers to create exquisite and innovative designs for our smartphone and wearables consumer business.

Our team specializes in the initial stages of design. You will work with project peers to conduct research, frame strategies, elaborate compelling narratives, and create and refine design concepts and archetypes. You will bring your own unique vision to challenge and collaborate with other designers on the team.

We’re looking for a visionary who can think beyond the status quo and advance our passion and dedication for designing beautiful objects. Your portfolio showcases an exceptional body of work, and demonstrates a hunger for forward-thinking ideas, a visual acuity and literacy for form, details, colour, and finishes.

You have cutting-edge design skills, with proficiency in ideation, concept visualization, form development, 3D modelling, with fluency in the usual software packages (Adobe CS, Rhinoceros, KeyShot, etc). You would ideally have an interest or basic knowledge of the latest tools and new workflows (AI and beyond). You are a humble and hungry individual who embraces collaborative work, and has the ability to work independently. Lastly, you must currently hold the right to live and work in the UK.
