The Industrial Design Intern is a key part of our team, collaborating closely to create exciting design concepts and strategies for various industries like aerospace design (aircraft interiors), space programs and travel in general. You will gain hands-on experience with client interactions, project development, and our innovative \"Thinking through Making\" approach. Here are the essential qualifications in brief:

Experience: While having or pursuing a design degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or Environmental/Exhibit Design is advantageous, it\'s not obligatory.

Skills: Proficiency in Rhino, SolidWorks, or similar 3D modelling and rendering software is preferred. Familiarity with the Adobe Suite, design sketching and storytelling skills are a plus.

Passion: Be enthusiastic about teamwork and craftsmanship, including collaboration with builders for mockups.

Role: Supporting the industrial design team in various ways, such as involvement in real projects including a multidisciplinary-intern-design-sprint!

Personality: We value creativity, collaboration, flexibility, autonomy, and motivation.

Additionally, we aim for you to acquire invaluable insights and practical experience in real-world design endeavors.

We offer a hybrid work situation, providing flexibility for both remote and in-office work arrangements.

This role is non-exempt and pays hourly, including overtime. The salary range for this job in most US geographic locations is $23 - $25/hour.

Full-time intern benefits start the first month following 60 days of hire, and are not eligible to participate in Teague\'s 401k plan.

We are a Washington State based company. All employees must reside in the state of Washington (unless otherwise noted for specific roles) and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area.
