The purpose and structure of our company is to develop and execute creative ideas and go-to-market strategies. We offer excellent service in every phase of research, design, and development through to market delivery.


DRD Partners is searching for an entry level Industrial Designer with strong storytelling ability and a passion for product creation to add to our rapidly growing staff.

As an Industrial Designer at DRD, you will

  • Develop creative concepts for footwear and soft goods opportunities not yet identified in the market.
  • Work with global development centers to create a product.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure that all development iterations support and adhere to the project roadmap.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Support in-house rapid prototyping with modeling.


  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, product design, and/or related field experience.
  • Strong conceptual skills and the ability to create and maintain product taste level and direction.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience, 5+ years preferred
  • Proficient with technical software, especially Adobe's creative suite.
  • Willing to travel. Travel to manufacturing sites throughout the US and Asia is to be expected.
  • Innovation – pushing the envelope on new products
  • 3D Visualization/Printing - ability to translate sketches to 3D models, and prepare models for 3D printing

Rhino and/or SolidWorks experience recommended

  • Communication - Clear communication to internal and external customers in multiple formats
