Industrial Designer at Procter & Gamble / Oral-B

The Opportunity

We are an international Design team of 25+ Industrial & Graphic Designers, Design Managers, CAD specialists and Model makers. Together we are P&G’s largest Design studio, located in Frankfurt and responsible for the Industrial Design, UX & UI Design, Packaging Design and strategic brand design for Braun, Gillette, Venus and Oral-B.

As global market leader in Oral Care, our commitment to improve global Oral Health has a long innovation history. Oral-B invented the first manual toothbrush with end-rounded nylon bristles in the 50s. Ten years later Braun/Oral-B introduced the first electric toothbrush.

We work at the Braun Design Studio where Dieter Rams created the legacy of functional, intuitive and highly aesthetic products that inspire Designers all over the world. We share the same values and translate our unique heritage into today’s and tomorrow’s world.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Industrial Designer to join our international team to develop innovative, highly aesthetic, functional and intuitive products. As the ideal candidate you have a creative approach to problem solving, a super fine-tuned eye for design, profound knowledge of manufacturing techniques & engineering principles and the ability to inspire others creating unique world-class products together in cross-functional teams.

You have a degree in Industrial Design or Product Design and have exceptional visual design skills and mastery both in 2D (Photoshop, Illustrator) and in 3D CAD (Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.). You passionately strive for Design Excellence and can develop unique aesthetic designs within given boundaries. As a Designer you are interested in improving the holistic branded product experience (end-to-end) embracing all user touch points. You are a curious person, always willing to learn, who senses relevant market & user trends. You enjoy to collaborate within the Design team and other functions in R&D. With your strong ability to communicate via sketching and high-quality presentations, you are able to translate consumer learnings into meaningful product solutions for large scale production. Last but not least you have strong English communications skills. Sounds like you?
