Porsche eBike Performance

Who are we?

We are a team of 100+ motivated professionals with different personalities and different career paths who are working in cross-functional teams with the goal of developing innovative, high performance electrical solutions for the e-bike market.

At Porsche eBike Performance, we develop and manufacture two brands of pioneering systems: FAZUA, focusing on compact lightweights for agile e-bikes, and the soon-to-come Porsche systems, which will pack even more power—scheduled to be available mid-decade to bike manufacturers all around the world.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an Industrial Designer to support our Design team in creating innovative and outstanding products for the eBike industry.

Responsibilities:

• As part of the industrial design team, you support the design team as well as other product development teams
• Iteratively, You develop and guide ideas and concepts from the first sketch to 3D models. In this process you will work both independently as well as in coordination with other teams and stakeholders
• You create prototypes to test ergonomics and operating concepts as well as styling ideas during different stages of the development
• You collect and evaluate feedback from testers and relevant stakeholders
• You accompany your projects up to the series production and develop detailed solutions and design adjustments
• You participate in further shaping the design language of our brands (Porsche eBike Performance, Fazua, Greyp)

Requirements & Qualifications:

• You have a degree in product, industrial or transportation design and have gained initial professional experience
• You have a portfolio with independent and innovative projects as well as successfully implemented products
• You are motivated and develop ideas and concepts independently
• You have a very good feeling for shapes and proportions
• You have a good understanding of ergonomics and interaction
• You are familiar with production processes and materials
• You are experienced in dealing with 3D programs such as Rhino, Alias or Blender as well as the Adobe Suite
• You can visualize and communicate ideas quickly and clearly
• You are organized and carry out your tasks dutifully
• You have experience designing products with complex product requirements
• You enjoy biking
• You speak fluent English
