Job Description

Type: Internship (possible with Bachelor's thesis)
Length: 6 months
Time: 32-40 hours/week
Expected Start Date: as soon as possible
Location: Eindhoven
The availability to work at least two days in the Eindhoven office, with the possibility of working one day in Amsterdam.

 

Your role:

  • You will be contributing to Philips Supplier Sustainability collaboration model by further developing data models and A.I. capabilities related to environmental and social development at suppliers.
  • You will be part of a diverse and dynamic team which operates in the sustainability domain and will be connecting with internal subject matter experts as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers.
  • You will join an awarded best-in-class sustainability environment and will have the opportunity to deep dive on supply chain sustainability topics while developing your business skills.

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's / Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, sustainability and/or healthcare
  • You have experience with setting up and improving data and analytical models, creating process maps and setting up new ways of working
  • You possess a strong affinity with ESG and structured in simplifying processes
  • Working with MS-office tools, Python, Power-BI or equivalent would be a great asset
  • You are proactive, independent, good at communicating, critical thinking and problem-solving

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.

 

Important:
Please note that in order to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation (proof of enrollment) will be requested. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university. Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
