SONOS is looking for people who want to join us in pursuing our mission.

As lead Designer on a new hardware program, you will be directly responsible for the definition and execution of a product in all its details. The role of a Senior Industrial Designer at Sonos requires balancing a deep sense of collaboration & communication, with an eye for design details, quality, and a desire to deliver the ‘right product’. A Senior Industrial Designer leads the design effort on projects from early concept through production including: design and consumer research; competitive marketplace analysis; and industrial design concept exploration, refinement, communication, & documentation. A Senior Industrial Designer is expected to work cross functionally with other industrial designers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and manufacturing partners to help deliver the highest quality experience and design possible while ensuring that design integrity is maintained from concept to mass production. In doing this designers at Sonos are expected to embrace the company design team behaviors of Trust, Debate, and Accountability.

Additionally, the right candidate will have a genuine interest in working across problems that touch upon industrial design, interaction design and brand in a manner that reinforces the Sonos design pillars and brand promise.

Communication & Organization Skills: Candidates should be detail driven and experienced in navigating the full product development process: interacting with 3rd party vendors, keeping track of schedule, program goals and cost considerations while striving to deliver thoughtfully designed products and experiences.
