Job Description & Qualifications

We are looking for an exceptional Senior UI Designer. Do you find yourself obsessing over the latest UI design trends and technologies? We are looking for a talented designer to create compelling and thoughtful in-vehicle user experiences. You have a keen eye for clean and artistic design; your superior UI skills allow you to translate high-level requirements into high-fidelity design artifacts. You like to communicate your ideas with pixel perfect clarity, therefore you prefer to breathe life into your designs by way of prototyping and animation.

Responsibilities:

• Visually express brand vision and definition through user interface design for in-vehicle experiences
• Apply a keen sensibility around layout, color, typography, motion graphics and behavior in expressing design executions
• Exhibit passion for emerging technologies, new interaction models, motion design, and excellence in visual design
• Collaborate with UX designers, HMI software engineers and suppliers to ensure quality of design output consistent with global standards and enhance implementation efficiency
• Utilize software skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, After Effects, Cinema 4D, etc.
• Ability to balance work within a fluid creative design environment and with tight timelines & engineering frameworks
• Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills

 

Requirements:

**A portfolio is required. Portfolio submission must include explanations of candidate's contribution if include project work and must include examples of individual work. Please include a link to your portfolio in your resume. **

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Motion Design, or Animation Design or related field

• 3+ years of professional UI experience or in lieu of visual design experience in animation, CG, advertisement, game or other visual design fields

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to visualize motion graphics, transition animation
• Experience in 3D modelling in C4D, Blender, Maya or similar toolset
• Versed in Human-Centered design thinking approach, techniques and philosophy
• Automotive experience is preferred, candidates that have relevant creative work experience in digital product design solutions are a fit
• Current with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
