Strategic Design Consultant at

The Opportunity

Join our interaction design team!

As you know, interaction design is a crucial methodology for spotting hidden opportunities and transforming them into real, actionable solutions. At KISKA, we’re at a unique intersection where service-orientated thinking meets practical product design. This allows us to be the perfect companion for our clients who wish to adapt their brands to be more desirable, digitally native, and experience focused.

This is where you come in! You’ll have the right mix of empathy for both the customer and client, plus a bit of stubbornness to push those wild ideas that may seem impossible at first. You’re great at persuading others and getting them excited about solutions, drawing on your knowledge of the latest trends and results. You know when to break out the prototypes or run tests to prove your point. Plus, your curiosity drives you to ask smart questions and quickly become the go-to expert in any new situation.

In this role you will…

  • Help clients make their brands more digital and experience focused.
  • Advocate for a strong consumer focus and put user validation into the foreground during decision-making processes.
  • Discover fresh opportunities where experience or interaction design can solve user pain points and client challenges.
  • Define and prioritise requirements and features. Create roadmaps.
  • Present (and defend!) the solutions to the client and other stakeholders.

We are looking for…

  • A background in interaction design, service design, or UX design.
  • Knowledge of commercial models and understanding of e-commerce and basic technology.
  • A hater of bad interactions, incoherent experiences, and poor interfaces. You must want to make things better!
  • A people person – who has a knack for sharing their perspective and encourages people to see the world as they do.
  • 7 – 10 years in a design-related field. 5 years experience in strategy and a minimum of 3 years in consulting where you built up client success.
  • Fluency in English with polished writing skills. German skills would be a bonus!
  • Someone willing to travel.

We offer competitive benefits to all our employees, from intern to director. Live with the support of our HR team and in the rich diversity and culture of our 5,900 m2 studio.
