The position: Visual design Intern/Trainee

We\'re looking for someone whose superpower is designing best-in-class interfaces that effectively serve the needs of the user and our clients’ businesses. The 2 main responsibilities include designing for Interfaces (Android, IOS, Web, and appliances) and designing for internal-external communications (website, brand, packaging, etc.)

Interaction-focused visual design requires a basic understanding of user research, concept creation, information architecture development (user flows, sketches, wireframes, navigation models), etc. Being passionate about human-centered design processes, interacting with our clients, users, developers, and sustaining a systems approach in the proposed solutions are crucial to succeed.


  • Translate concepts and wireframes into strong clear visuals that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Define cross platforms design systems with typography, iconography, colour, grid, and design components.
  • Facilitate clients’ product visions by researching, conceiving, sketching, ideating, and mocking up interfaces for digital products.
  • Design and deliver wireframes and UI optimized for a wide range of devices and platforms (mostly Android, IOS and Web).
  • Identify design problems within existing designs and communicate solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders across all phases of digital projects from research to strategy to design to development
  • Execution of all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers.
  • Definition of design specs for our clients’ development teams.
  • Translate complex technical and concepts into easy-to-understand communication pieces.


  • In-depth knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, and an ability to learn fast about new products and technologies our clients are developing.
  • Have a great eye for detail and design aesthetic, but be able to remind yourself to never forget the big picture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail with a can-do attitude.
  • Past experience working collaboratively across different skillsets and points of view is good to have.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills- Ability to clearly explain your work to others and reason your designs to stakeholders.
  • Ability to be self-managed while working on several projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
  • Storytelling and communication skills with good copywriting are a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design and demonstrable skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency or considerable knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe CC programs(Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD) and experience using remote working tools like Miro with an ability to learn new software coming up fast. Presentation tools such as PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
  • Student or recent graduate available for at least 6 months
  • Fluent in English. German language is a plus. Eligible to work in the EU.
